She went to New York university and she got a degree in Education in 1961.Judy and her husband George Cooper live on islands up and down the east coast. They have three grown children and one grandchild.She likes to write novels for children and teenagers. She writes about racism, divorce, menstruation, bullying and things that affect young people.
